Caprese Ciabatta
Low FODMAP Low Histamine Caprese Ciabatta • Gluten-free ciabatta • Two thick slices of mozzarella cheese • One small tomato, sliced • 10 fresh basil leaves • Olive oil • Salt and pepper to taste Slice the ciabatta in half and place a slice of mozzarella on each half. Broil on high until cheese is melted. Top with basil leaves and tomato slices. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy! This was a favorite of mine over the summer! I used garden-fresh basil and tomato. It was a great way to highlight the ONE cheese that is both low FODMAP and low histamine: mozzarella. Note: I know tomato is a histamine liberator, so you can make this without tomato or adapt in other ways as needed.
